Ackerley Style LLC (“Ackerley Style,” “Ackerley,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit ackerleystyle.com, join our waitlist, or communicate with us.
At launch, our website is a marketing and waitlist site only. We do not currently offer user accounts, payments, wardrobe uploads, calendar access, precise location features, or personalized styling through the website. Before we launch features that collect additional categories of personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by law.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
• Waitlist information, currently your email address when you choose to join the Ackerley Style waitlist.
• Communications you send to us, including the contents of messages and any contact information you choose to provide.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our website hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, date and time of access, requested pages, and basic server or security logs.
We do not use third-party analytics pixels or advertising trackers at launch.
How We Use Personal Information
• To add you to and manage the Ackerley Style waitlist.
• To send requested launch news, product updates, and other Ackerley Style communications.
• To respond to questions and communications.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Email and Waitlist Communications
If you join the waitlist, we may send you email about Ackerley Style. We currently use Google Sheets through the Google Apps Script as a service provider to collect and manage waitlist email addresses and to send communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email. You may also contact waitlist@ackerleystyle.com for general waitlist questions.
Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent us from sending a response to a message you initiate or another non-marketing communication that is reasonably necessary.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances:
• Service providers. We use vendors that help us operate the website, host or secure systems, manage email and the waitlist, or provide other services on our behalf. At launch, this includes Google Sheets and Google Apps Script for waitlist collection and management. These providers process information subject to their agreements with us and applicable law.
• Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a lawful government request, or is appropriate to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Ackerley Style, our users, or others.
• Business transactions. Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
No Sale or Sharing for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising
Ackerley Style does not currently sell personal information and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not operate an affiliate program at launch and do not use advertising pixels at launch.
If these practices change, we will update our disclosures and provide any opt-out rights required by applicable law before or when the new practice begins.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
At launch, Ackerley Style does not use optional analytics or advertising cookies. Our website and service providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for functions such as security, fraud prevention, network management, load balancing, form operation, and remembering privacy-related settings.

Data Retention
We retain waitlist information for as long as needed to administer the waitlist and communicate with you, unless you unsubscribe, request deletion where applicable, or we determine the information is no longer needed. We may retain limited records for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes where permitted or required by law. Technical logs are retained according to our operational needs and the retention practices of our service providers.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link included in our messages. You may also contact legal@ackerleystyle.com to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you. Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies to Ackerley Style, you may have additional legal rights.
Where applicable, we may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may also retain information when an exception under applicable law permits or requires us to do so.
California Privacy Information
California law may provide California residents with rights regarding personal information when the law applies to a business. Those rights can include rights to know or access certain personal information, delete personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable rights.
Ackerley Style does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not currently collect precise geolocation, financial account credentials, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the launch website.
You may submit a privacy request by emailing legal@ackerleystyle.com or by writing to the mailing address in Section 16. We will respond as required by applicable law and may choose to honor similar requests voluntarily even when a specific privacy law does not apply to us.

Identifiers
Examples at launch: Email address; IP address. Purpose: Waitlist administration, communications, website delivery and security. Retention: For as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, subject to legal and operational needs.
Internet / Network Activity
Examples at launch: Browser, device, requested pages, server and security logs. Purpose: Website operation, security and troubleshooting. Retention: According to operational needs and provider retention settings.
Communications
Examples at launch: Messages you send us. Purpose: Responding to you and maintaining appropriate business records. Retention: For as long as reasonably necessary for the communication and related legal and business needs.
At launch, Ackerley Style does not sell these categories of personal information or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser-based signal that can communicate a request to opt out of certain sale or sharing practices where applicable. Because Ackerley Style does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no such sale or sharing to opt out of. If our practices change, we will honor legally required opt-out preference signals.
Age Requirement
Ackerley Style is intended only for people who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information through the Services from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us personal information, please contact us at the address below.
Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Ackerley Style is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties we do not control.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Ackerley Style evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required by law. We expect to update this Policy before launching features such as user accounts, wardrobe uploads, calendar or location integrations, personalized AI styling, shopping integrations, affiliate relationships, or payments.
