Ackerley Style believes you should understand and control how your personal information is used. This page summarizes the privacy choices currently available for the Ackerley Style launch website.
What Ackerley Collects at Launch
The launch website is a marketing and waitlist site. If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. Our website and service providers may also process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, and server/security logs.
We do not currently collect wardrobe photos, calendar information, precise location, payment information, or user account credentials through the website.
Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
You may contact legal@ackerleystyle.com to ask whether we maintain personal information associated with you and to request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live and whether applicable privacy law applies to Ackerley Style, these may be legal rights. We may also choose to honor similar requests voluntarily.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and certain information may be retained where permitted or required by law.
Marketing Email Choices
You can unsubscribe from Ackerley Style marketing email at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not prevent us from responding to a message you initiate or sending another non-marketing communication that is reasonably necessary.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Ackerley Style does not currently sell personal information and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. As a result, there is currently no sale or sharing activity to opt out of.
If our practices change, we will update this page and provide any opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.
Sensitive Personal Information
The launch website does not currently collect precise geolocation, financial account credentials, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the waitlist. If future Ackerley features use information such as precise location, we will update our disclosures and provide applicable choices before or when those features launch.
Global Privacy Control
Where applicable, Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser-based signal that can communicate a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because Ackerley Style does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no such activity to opt out of. If our practices change, we will honor legally required opt-out preference signals.
California Privacy Rights
When the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), applies to a business, California residents may have rights that include knowing or accessing certain personal information, deletion, correction, opting out of sale or sharing, limiting certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and non-discrimination for exercising applicable rights.
Ackerley Style may not be subject to every privacy law at every stage of its growth. Nothing on this page limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
